After taking perindopril for a year, and with comparable side-effects, switched to amlodipine. The first few weeks were fine but after that the side-effects started. Despite good sleep, I was tired all day, my legs were hurting when I exercise and I gained a lot of weight really quickly. These are the most obvious side-effects. And my blood pressure was once again too high. (175/105
