After my pregnancies, a coil seemed to be the solution as I can't handle and contraceptive pills because they give me migraines. But the whole time I had this, I had ongoing blood loss, for more than 3 months. Horrendous. I was so weak. When I went to see the gynaecologist, I was told that everything was fine and I just had to be patient. Then when I went back to see my doctor for what felt like the millionth time, he decided to take the mirena out. As soon as it was gone, the blood loss stopped and I got better. Never again.
