Started taking Champix on 30.12.2015. Smoked my last cigarette on 07.01.2016. I smoked 1 pack of 19 cigarettes a day. For 30 years. After going up to 2 tablets I halved that within a week. I was a different person. No desire to smoke. After 7 weeks I had a breakdown. It was irreversible. The signs were missed because of Champix. Now the GP has put me on anti-depressants. According to the GP, Champix enabled and hastened the breakdown. Be careful with Champix. It's been 6 months for me and I'm still sitting at home no better.
