Since I've been using Gliclazide, alongside Metformine 500 mg 2x day, I have really suffered with hard stools (obstipation), found it really hard to go and feeling like there's still something left (pressure) so I spend ages sitting on the loo. I started off on 3x 80 mg and it felt like there was a brick in my stomach. Went down to 2x 80 mg and there was a slight improvement but the difficult and hard stools remain. I'm going to ask my GP for an alternative because I don't feel good on this drug. But my glucose levels are good though.
