I was prescribed this medicine because of a skin disease that I've had for years: folliculitis delcalvans. Other medicines for this have only ever helped marginally and are more for treating the symptoms than the problem itself. On this medicine, I was hopeful of an improvement but it actually seems like the skin disease has got worse. At the moment, I am not hopeful of a positive outcome. Does anyone else have any experience of this? The side effects are worse than the illness it's supposed to treat: dry skin (lips!!), dry and bloodshot eyes, nosebleeds, joint pain, insomnia, etc., etc. I am considering stopping the course early because I don't think I can cope with it. The skin disease is now covering my whole head. Scabs, cuts, itchiness, burning feeling, etc.
