zopiclone (7,5mg) for insomnia
I've been taking zopiclone since 2010 for my insomnia that was caused by anxiety and depression. At first I was on 7.5mg a day and it worked really well than it wasn't working as well so my doctor switched me to quetiapine as an alternative. I was on 75mg of that and it worked well but it is also an antipsychotic so I wasnt on it long. When I went back to zopiclone I was given 7.5mg x2 a night. It doesn't hit me as fast and I still get to sleep later than I want but it does work better than nothing. About a week ago I was given Sublinox 10mg rapid release (dissolved on my tongue) it worked fantastic as it put me to sleep within an hour and I slept through the night with no waking up. Unfortunately, I had side effects to that which were nausea, dry mouth, headache, and muscle pain. I'm now back on Zopiclone 7.5mgx2 and the only side effect I have is bitter taste but I don't notice it anymore since being on this for 8 years.
