trimethoprim, sulfamethoxazole (160/800mg) for pneumonia
I'm not sure if this medicine is helping. was prescribed it by the respiratory consultant because of a chest infection and pulmonary embolism. Taking these tablets isn't a problem for me. The worst thing is the mild metallic taste I get with everything I eat and drink. I've been taking this medicine I've had pain on the backs of my calves which has been getting worse and makes it difficult for me to walk. I've also encountered sleep problems. I'm fine until about 3 a.m. but from then on I'm awake, just dosing. from 6 a.m. there is no possibility of sleeping. I'm also suffering with trembling hands and trembling legs when I stand.
