Had problems with frequent toilet visits since May 2017, up to 8 times a day, then sometimes only once in 3 days, then I experienced significant blood loss which meant I had to see the internist and then after loads of investigations including an endoscopy and an mri scan I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I was given asacol 800 mg 4 x a day and budenofalk foam 1 x a day in the evenings before going to bed, it was fine in the beginning but now the blood loss is so bad that I need to stop taking the budenofalk after being on it for 9 weeks and she prescribed me 40 mg prednisone which I have started taking today for the next 10 weeks so more waiting.
