Given ciprofloxacine for a severe bladder infection. 1 tablet twice a day for 7 days. It worked for the bladder infection but I found it harder and harder to swallow, had no appetite and just a general feeling of malaise. Sore and swollen throat. These side effects weren't in the patient information leaflet or mentioned by the pharmacist. I looked online and found out that they are very rare side effects. Called the doctor over the weekend, told him my story and I was told to stop taking the medicine immediately. One week on and things are back to normal, I can eat and drink as usual.
