Every three months I have a blood test in the hospital. It would appear that during the night my blood sugar levels increase. In the mornings it's 10. During the day it's usually about 6. Now the practice nurse has prescribed me Glicazide to prevent the increase of sugar overnight. Before this I used to take Glibenclamide 5 mg 3 x a day. I don't have any side effects from this. On the Glicazide, I'm going down to 2 tablets a day, one in the morning and one in the evening. If the side effects stay then I'm going back to Glibenclamide.
