Been taking xarelto 20 mg for about 6 months. No problems with side effects in the first month, until all of my joints in my body became inflamed. Had some blood tests and it seemed that my blood values (ast and alt) in my liver weren't right. Had an echo and liver biopsy and it transpired that xarelto had affected my liver. Quickly switched to another medicine, but need to have extrad blood tests. Be careful with this medicine!
