After using this for about a year it seems that it's causing more side effects than the benefit I'm getting from taking it, or do you somehow get used to it? But I had never had a good feeling about it like when I was taking marcoumar. More misery comes from the increased liver values, ALT and AST. Now I need to have a scan and the noise from the machine makes me anxious. So I what I think is that, like it says in the patient information leaflet, pradaxa is a very bad medicine for the liver. My advice now is: "make sure you have yearly blood tests and liver checks"
