After a heart attack in 2007 I recovered well thanks to an angioplasty. After 10 years without a single complaint, I have been told by the insurers that I need to switch to Grepid (after 10 years of Plavix). The Plavix isn't covered which means I have had weeks at home, ill. Dizzy (driving and cycling just not possible) Lots of stomach and bowel problems, incredible that this medicine has made it on to the market. Insurers are refusing to pay for the medicine so I decided to pay for Plavix myself. After 1 week of being back on Plavix, I was able to go back to work. If it's got anything to do with me, I will never take Grepid again and switch my insurers at the end of the year.
