apixaban (5mg) for thrombosis

Using these tablets since January. I was so happy to get rid of the injections, but after a while I did notice some side effects: loss of sleep, feeling tired, and it seems to have effect on my speech (I’m sometimes searching for words), also tingly feeling sometimes.

dabigatran etexilate mesilate (150mg) for thrombosis

Switched from acenacoumarol to pradaxa so that I wasn't dependent on the thrombosis clinic any more. It was fine, there was no effect on my INR depending on what you ate. No periods of feeling unwell but because my INR is so low a bit of a feeling of insecurity. Unfortunately problems with minor muscle tremors in my lower eye lid and calf, sometimes my thigh as well.

Rivaroxaban (20mg) for thrombosis

I have hallucinations, especially at night. Images appear, sometimes very strong, sometimes scary. For that reason I am not satisfied with this medication. At the moment I’ve started taking 1 tablet every other day for I suspect the dosage, one tablet a day, was too high. I am very curious to see if this results in a moderate reaction. Beside the hallucinations I have no other side effects.

Used this drug for 3 months for thrombosis in my arm after an operation. I had no serious side effects only a heavier period.

Rivaroxaban (20mg) for thrombosis

I was given this drug to prevent thrombosis after it was discovered that I had DVT. I am assuming that this medicine has worked, but I have no idea (but also no side effects).

Rivaroxaban (20mg) for thrombosis

After a deep vein thrombosis and a few pulmonary embolisms in the first instance went on to acenocoumarol. INR values were still fluctuating and going to the thrombosis clinic every couple of weeks is just not practical when you're 20, so eventually switched to xarelto. Never had any problems with it. Experienced no side effects, taking it is easy and there are no extra checks.

Rivaroxaban (20mg) for thrombosis

Been on blood thinners for one and a half years because of deep vein thrombosis. Had an operation and had 20 cm of stents put in from my belly button down. Excellent medicine. Don't need thrombosis service and can have alcohol! Absolutely no problem with any side-effects. What's totally crazy is that you can no longer control whether or not you're protected, so that's something you need to take...
