Simvastatin

simvastatin (40mg) for stroke

After a heart attack in January 2017, I was prescribed simvastatin, 1 x per day 40 mg. Severe pain in my shoulder as a result. Pain in arm, hand, can't sleep, etc. Stopped now.

clopidogrel besilate (75mg) for stroke

Cramps in hands, feet and especially calf’s are my experience with this stuff. Even the smallest amount of exercise gives me problems; my night’s rest is gone. I’ve turned into Grumpy and my quality of life plummeted. For this reason I just quit and after 5 days the cramps were a thing of the past. I’m very curious to see if there are more people with similar experiences.

apixaban (2,5mg) for stroke

Because of a mild stroke, my mother had to switch from Xarelto to Eliquis. Eliquis made her sleep almost all day and ultimately she died from a massive stomach haemorrhage (side effect in 1 in 10 patients!).

ticagrelor (90mg) for stroke

Just started taking this drug, dizzy, sweating, unsure. Next week another visit to the doctor about stopping this product. Used Clopidogrel, which made me dizzy, but it's worse with Brilque. Bruising after knocks. Expensive, 46.07 euros for 28 tablets, 2 a day. Insurance won't pay for this product. But they do pay for Clopidogrel. According to the pharmacist an aspirin is an excellent alternati...
