Dexamfetamine (10mg.) for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
Our son was prescribed Ritalin at first but its effects were too short-acting and he got rebounds and dexamphetamine has fewer side effects than Ritalin. because it's a more expensive medicine it's hardly ever prescribed. but after lots of reading about how ADHD medicines work I have found this one to be the best. Except the retard form wasn't enough for my son at 3x a day at 20mg. And that's a lot. his appetite got a lot less and the insurance stopped paying for it as well so that's why we stopped it. I just want one pill per day.
