Dexamfetamine

Dexamfetamine (5mg) for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
First of all given the rebound effect of methylphenidate (Ritalin) the switch to Amfexa seemed to be a sensible one. Medicine isn't as strong. Rebound effects are less and mood is more stable. Now switching to long-acting dexamphetamine. Less frequent medication and less likely to forget to take it which means lower chance of negative side effects. More balance throughout the day and generally feel more even.
