Pramipexole (0,125mg) for restless legs syndrome (RLS)
The pharmacist said that, because it was costing the health insurers too much money to pay for branded Sofril, it is being replaced with a so-called generic variant. The result was that not only did I have restless legs which prevented me sleeping but I also couldn't sleep because of the itchiness of the skin rash. Needed an extra visit to the doctor just to be told that you get what you pay for which is really not helpful for me, someone who has no choice but to take this junk. Luckily I am in possession of Sifrol again. It seems that I was just one of the many victims of the economizing of Dutch health insurers.
