Simvastatin

Simvastatin (40mg) for stroke

Really bad pain and stiffness in my shoulder, arms, side, hips, leg, foot - mostly on the left but sometimes on my right-hand side. After about 5 weeks taking 40 mg a day (on account of a minor brain haemorrhage without any kind of attack) now almost 2 weeks ago stopped in agreement with GP and stroke clinic. suffering with pain and impediments arose on the 2nd day of taking, recently also reacted in the past (2007) also counterproductive (lower dose of 10 or 20 mg) pravastatin which also caused muscle pain & stiffness on lf left-hand side. Stopped back then as well in agreement with GP.
